We are looking for a strong Infrastructure Project Manager to support the Siemens Energy account. You will lead and coordinate infrastructure and network-related projects across multiple sites, including upgrades, cutovers, new site delivery, and incident-driven site interventions. This is a hands-on role that blends project delivery with on-site infrastructure support in a complex, multi-stakeholder environment.
On-site network support
Provide hands-on support during network upgrades, cutovers, and infrastructure changes.
Travel to sites across the UK & Ireland during unplanned outages to support diagnosis, recovery, and service restoration.
Support LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi troubleshooting, equipment replacement, patching, cabling, and physical device validation.
New site design & delivery
Work with partners and business leaders to capture requirements for new office and factory networks.
Build implementation timelines, create high-level/low-level designs (where required), and gather cost estimates.
Project manage network deployments and major changes, maintaining:
Risk registers
Project plans
Delivery trackers
Stakeholder updates
Project delivery & coordination
Manage delivery dependencies, milestones, and outcomes across multiple workstreams.
Coordinate vendors, partners, and internal teams to ensure smooth execution and handover.
Drive governance and documentation to maintain a clear audit trail.
Operational & stakeholder management
Coordinate infrastructure activities across Business, Real Estate, Digital Core / Infrastructure, and external vendors.
Communicate technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Lead or support incident management in multi-site / industrial environments.
Influence stakeholders and negotiate outage windows to minimise business disruption.
Proven experience delivering IT infrastructure and/or network projects (multi-site strongly preferred).
Strong project management fundamentals: planning, RAID/risk logs, dependency tracking, reporting.
Comfortable working on-site and in operational environments (including unplanned outage response).
Strong vendor/partner management and coordination skills.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate technical topics for business audiences.
Experience working with LAN/WAN/Wi-Fi environments and physical infrastructure changes (hands-on understanding).
Experience in industrial, manufacturing, utilities, or energy environments.
Familiarity with structured delivery frameworks (Agile/Waterfall/hybrid), ITIL/incident processes, or change management.
