Overview

 

This role is purely for inventory/asset management and level 1 technical support. Person should be responsible to track all incidents workflow and track all activities in service now pertaining to our resource’s efforts and asset software management and can completely manage communication between onshore/offshore and local deskside support team.

 

Responsibilities

This role would be capable to manages inventory tracking system to record deliveries, shipments and stock levels. Evaluates deliveries, shipments and product levels to improve inventory control procedures. Analyzes daily product and supply levels to anticipate inventory problems and shortages.

This resource would help organization for full lifecycle management for all system refreshes including computer selection, imaging, deploying, backup, software and licensing transfer, deployment and testing.

Assist with hardware refreshes, moves projects, Incident Response (SA/PA schedules), incidents and requests to meet and exceed SLA's. Will work on  ServiceNow ticketing system for all incidents and requests and create dashboard for support team to track all efforts.

Manages schedules of employees, deliveries and shipments to optimize operations as head office is like a depot and from this centralized location every day inventory management owner would be responsible to ship devices for impacted users within timelines without any failure to avoid any end users productivity.

Communicates with inventory employees to meet business goals and address personnel issues.

Develops business relationships with suppliers and clients.

Proposes strategies to reduce costs and improve procedures of supply chain logistics.

Monitors demand and analyzes data to anticipate future supply and logistical needs.

Reports on inventory levels, supply chain progress, procedural efficiency and personnel issues to upper management or leads.

Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

ServiceNow skillset is mandatory and person should know all service now processes related to asset management/commission/decommission and compliance management.

New machine patch management and vulnerability mitigation knowledge

Resource should  have Excellent time management, confidentiality & communication skills.
