We are seeking a skilled Level 2 Network Engineer to join our IT team. In this role, you will be responsible for supporting, troubleshooting, and maintaining our organization's network infrastructure to ensure optimal performance and security. You will work closely with Level 1 support and collaborate with senior engineers to resolve complex network issues.
- Provide advanced support and troubleshooting for network hardware, software, and configurations.
- Monitor network performance and resolve connectivity issues promptly.
- Assist in the configuration, deployment, and maintenance of routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices.
- Document network configurations, incidents, and resolutions.
- Support network security protocols and assist in implementing security measures.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support network-related projects.
- Maintain knowledge of current network technologies and industry best practices.
- Proven experience as a Network Engineer or similar role.
- Strong understanding of network protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, etc.).
- Experience with network hardware and tools (Cisco, Juniper, Wireshark, etc.).
- Knowledge of network security principles.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Relevant certifications (CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent) preferred.
