Job purpose:

 

The purpose of this role is deliver implementations to support our customer’s many network security requirements. This should be done according to strict change control processes, and with absolutely minimal disruption to services.

Responsibilities

Deploy Security implementation as per the customer's Implementation & firewall process

Validation & error checking of submitted requests

Troubleshooting implementation issues & root cause

Raise and close tickets in accordance with change management process

Lead the activity and coordinate with relevant teams

Work with internal and external customers, providing advice and support when required

Work with Support and Operational staff to minimise service disruption

Qualifications

Qualified to Juniper JNCIA-SEC, Checkpoint CCSA or equivalent experience,

Good experience with Change Control processes

A strong understanding of IP and associated Protocols

Hands on experience with Checkpoint, Juniper & Fortinet networking technologies

Strong written and verbal communication skills required for presenting complex technical concepts

Desirable – Fortinet NSE4 certification
