POSITION: Data Center Proximity Technician

LOCATION OF THE POSITION: Trélazé (department 49)

JOB TYPE: Hired on a fixed-term contract with NSC Global

START DATE: IMMEDIATE

As part of an experienced team, under the responsibility of an operational manager, you will participate in the operational maintenance of more than 5,000 pieces of equipment (servers, switches, disk arrays) present in the hosting rooms.

• As such, your missions will be:

  • Carry out a visual inventory of the sub-equipment (hard drives) of more than 1500 assets located in the bays present in the Trélazé DataCentre
  • You carry out visual checks on the hosted equipment
  • You participate in inventory studies
  • You update the repositories in the hardware databases

Professional knowledge and qualifications required:

• Speaks and writes in English to a good level.
• Any College course – ideally within IT
• Experienced in all forms of MS Windows based personal computing devices and associated peripherals
• Acquires job skills and learns / adheres to company policies and procedures. Complete routine tasks pertaining to computer hardware, software or operating system support.

Preferred Certifications

• Any IT Certification / A+ certification or similar
• Understand / experience of working with Dell Desktop / Laptop, HP Desktop / Laptop / Printer, Lenovo Desktop / Laptop, Lexmark Printer, IBM Printer or similar products
